Shipping Dangerous Goods to Jersey, Guernsey, Southampton and Alderney
Shipping dangerous or hazardous goods is not a problem with Huelin Renouf Shipping. We just need to comply with regulations to properly manage the consignment.
When shipping dangerous or hazardous goods a Dangerous Goods Note (DGN) must accompany the goods at all times during its journey. This must be completed by a competent person from the Company sending the goods, and must include all relevant details for any Port Authorities and transport Companies involved.
Failure to provide, or accurately or fully complete the DGN, could delay or prohibit the transportation of the goods.
The DGN must comply withe the requirements of the Merchant Shipping (Dangerous Goods and Marine Pollutants) Regulations and the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code.
